The Universal Diplomatic Affairs of Human Rights (UDAHR) emerged not as a mere organization, but as a bold testament to the unyielding power of human compassion and collective resolve. Founded by the indomitable Mr. Sakir Hossain—a seasoned Human Rights Defender and accomplished Practicing Lawyer before the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta—the UDAHR stands as a Non-Governmental, Non-Political, and Non-Profit Organization, dedicated to championing Humanity, Peace, Social Justice, and Dignity across the Nation and Global.
- The Human Rights Defender, Mr. Sakir Hossain’s journey to founding the Universal Diplomatic Affairs of Human Rights (UDAHR) is a story of relentless passion and profound insight. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in Social Activism and NGO Administration, he volunteered with numerous legitimate National and International Human Rights Organizations. During these formative years, he witnessed firsthand the cracks in the system: many groups lacked proper authentication, their activists were untrained in legitimate social practices, and ignorance of National Human Rights Codes and Professional Ethics was rampant. Worse still, Political influences often tainted what should have been independent missions, while a glaring absence of structured mechanisms left vulnerable populations underserved. Driven by a fierce commitment to integrity, AdvocateSakir Hossain envisioned a new paradigm—one grounded in International Ethical Standards and India’s robust legal framework. Drawing inspiration from Article 19(1)(c) of the Constitution of India, which enshrines the Right to Form Associations, he meticulously constituted the “Universal Diplomatic Affairs of Human Rights (UDAHR)”. The organization was duly registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and the Trade Marks Act, 1999, transforming it into a Unique Intellectual Property symbolizing Global Unity in Human Rights Advocacy.
- From its inception, the “Universal Diplomatic Affairs of Human Rights (UDAHR)” was more than an NGO; it was a movement ignited by the belief that collective action could shatter systemic barriers and illuminate paths to justice. Rooted in the timeless principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), alongside International Treaties and National Constitutional frameworks, the UDAHR began as a National initiative in India. Yet, its vision knew no borders. Under Advocate Sakir Hossain’s visionary leadership, it swiftly evolved into a Globally recognized force, blending grassroots activism with high-level diplomacy. The organization’s holistic approach—encompassing Advocacy, Legal Support, Humanitarian Aid, and Policy Reform—addressed the root causes of inequality, discrimination, and injustice, empowering marginalized voices from Rural Villages to International Forums

Through a strategic Amendment to its Trust framework, the UDAHR formalized its innovative structure of 14 Inter-Departmental Directorates. Each Directorate became a specialized Pillar, tackling critical issues from Social Equity and Quality Education to Environmental Sustainability and Global Peace. This evolution not only expanded the UDAHR’s operational scope but also solidified its role as a trailblazer in cross-sector collaboration, ensuring adherence to International Treaties with unparalleled diplomatic finesse.
